How people find our blog Our blogging software lets me see what search terms people use to get to our blog. The most interesting term people googled to find us so far…”why people visit Texas“. I would not have thought that Texas Forums would be a reason to visit Texas (now that’s a Big Hairy Audacious Goal!) but on May 21, I googled the term and we showed up #17 on the list.
Speaking of interesting search terms… I couldn’t help using the term “Big Hairy Audacious Goal” again because if you had googled that term on February 28, you would have found us at #
24 8 on the list of sites.
…one more interesting search term…
Someone found us by searching on “history of listen”. We came up #4 on google’s search list on May 24!
A big day for the TF Blog
May 21 was a really big day. We had our highest number of visits for one day (127) and I wrote our 100th posting. I think we hit paydirt on the number of visits because I sent out an e-mail promoting a video on how to ask questions to promote deliberation that I found on youtube. I’ve been in touch with the creator about making more short refresher videos on different aspects of deliberative democracy. She’s a high school junior in a mandatory civic class in Hawaii! Better hire her while she’s willing to work cheaply. This young woman has talent. Watch the video and link to more of her work on the TF Blog.
