Categories are not working right

WordPress is not showing my category “PBS All American Presidential Forums” in the edit mode no matter what I do. I have postings with this category. Not only that, but it show it as a “tag” not a “category”. I’ve added categories in the past without any problem. I can’t figure this one out and it’s very frustrating because this is the category I need to flag for guest bloggers for tonight’s forum. Help!
